FAQs

  • How do insurance claims work?

After we do our free inspection, we contact your insurance company.  After we contact your insurance company, they will send out an adjuster to estimate and determine the damage to your home. Sometimes we send supplements and negotiate with your insurance company to ensure your home is properly taken care of.  Keep in mind, your contractor should be advocating for you which is why it's important to go with a contractor that knows how to deal with the insurance companies.

  • When should I contact an exterior contractor?

After any large storm or if you suspect damage call a contractor immediately. It is better to do this quickly to protect the interior of your home. We don't want a ceiling falling in on you because of water damage.

  • What if my entire house isn't approved?

We are in your corner and will fight to get your entire house approved. However, this is not always possible. If we determine as a team that it is no longer worth fighting with the insurance company, we will come up with a plan that best fits your needs: continue with the approved work and pay out-of-pocket, finance the unapproved parts of the home, or wait until a later date.

Remember, we are on YOUR team and we will not push something that doesn't fit your needs. Our goal is to create a partnership, not to have you sign a check.

  • Will I need to pay for anything out of pocket?

Deductibles are required to be paid by you. Failure to do so can put you in danger of policy issues, fraud, liens and more. The only other out of pocket expenses are when the insurance doesn't pay for the whole repair needed, or if you choose to upgrade any manterials.

  • My roof leaks. Do I need to have it replaced completely?

Not necessarily. It's possible that a section of your roof is loose, or that damage occured in one place only. We'll conduct a thorough investigation before suggesting repair options.

  • How long can I expect my roof system to last?

  • Do I have to keep the color and style I currently have?

Describe the item or answer the question so that Absolutely not! We can make your house your dream home by working within the estimate that your insurance company gave you or through another route of payment. You should be proud of the home you live in and we are here to do just that for you. Plus, what's a better time to make a big change than right now?
